To uninstall Rambox, please follow these steps:
Windows 10
- On your computer, close Rambox.
- Click the Start menu Settings.
- Click Apps.
- Under 'Apps & features', find and click Rambox.
- Click Uninstall.
- Confirm by clicking Uninstall.
Windows 8, 7 or Vista
- On your computer, close Rambox.
- Open the Control Panel:
- Windows 7 & Vista: Click the Start menu Control Panel.
- Windows 8: Point to the top-right of your screen. Click Settings Control Panel.
- Click Uninstall a program or Programs and Features.
- Double-click Rambox.
- Click Uninstall.
Optional:
If you want to manually uninstall Rambox from Windows, you can do so by removing the following folder from your computer:
C:/Users/your_user/AppData/Roaming/Rambox
However, this is not our recommended uninstalling method, since certain junk files will not be removed from your computer. That's why it is so important to use the Windows Uninstaller.
Mac
- At the bottom of your computer screen, in your Dock, right-click Rambox.
- Select Quit.
- Open Finder.
- Go to the folder containing the Rambox application on your computer.
- Tip: It may be in your Applications folder. If not, go to File Find, and search for 'Rambox'.
- Drag Rambox Pro to the Bin.
- Optional: Delete your profile information, like sessions and cookies:
- Reboot after step 5.
- At the top of the screen, click Go Go to Folder.
- Enter
~/Library/Application Support/Rambox
. or something like /Users/your-username/Library/Application Support/Rambox - Click Go.
- Select all the folders, and drag them to the Bin.
Linux
- Open a terminal window.
- On GNOME, Unity and Cinnamon environments, press Ctrl + Alt + t.
- On KDE environments, go to Application Menu System Konsole.
- Enter the uninstallation command: sudo snap remove rambox.
- When prompted, enter your computer's password.
Optional:
If you want to manually uninstall Rambox from Linux, you can do so by removing the following folder from your computer:
~/.config/Rambox
If you delete profile information when you uninstall Rambox, the data of each app won’t be on your computer anymore. The configuration of your Rambox environment will still remain on Rambox's servers.
