If you're experiencing issues with passkeys or two-factor authentication (2FA), please bear in mind that Rambox currently does not fully support certain methods on macOS and specific Linux distributions sadly.

This limitation is primarily due to our reliance on Electron, the framework we use to build Rambox, which does not yet provide complete compatibility for all 2FA and passkey methods on these platforms. However, many of these methods, such as Biometric Authentication, Security Keys (like Yubikey), and PIN Codes, work properly on Windows, where you can easily authenticate without issues.

We apologize for this inconvenience and want to assure you that we are always looking to improve. We will continue to investigate this matter and hope to provide full support for passkeys and 2FA methods across all platforms in the future.
